Popple is a plain of waves. Tiny ripples, curves and texture and layers of colour on a small scale.  Inspired by ancient mosaics, watery symbols and how weather touches the water.

Every Fermoie design begins with the drawn line, with the full repeat meticulously created by hand. Our fabrics are printed on our own weave using only natural pigments and colours inspired by natural dyeing in our Studio. We use traditional printing methods in our Wiltshire Factory to create a completely original fabric.

Available on 100% linen and polyester made from 100% recycled plastic bottles.

Fermoie cushions are handmade in Wiltshire, England. Our patterned cushions are self piped, made with hidden zip and filled with feather and down.

Contrast Flange or Welt?

Contrast Flange: a strip of fabric that can be added to the edge of a pillow to increase its size, and can be made from a contrasting fabric to the pillow itself

Constrast Welt: a fabric-covered cord that is sewn into a seam using a different fabric than the main material

Self-Welt: A self welt iswhen the cord is done out of the same fabric.

Knife Edge: A knife edge pillow isone with a seam without a decorative finish. It tapers to sharp, crisp edges and corners, creating a very simple, clean, polished look.
